Thinking your work is just a job is like saying your food is cardboard (hopefully it isn’t). If there’s no flavor or joy in the experience, it’s time to quit and make a change. But you may not really need to leave your current work at all.

What is it about your current work that screams “career?” I would imagine a lot more than you may want to admit. I would also imagine there’s a lot of opportunity to turn it into a career without even saying, “I quit.”
