I’ve lost track of how many of my clients are concerned about appearing too “braggy” on their resume or in an interview. I’ll say it again: You’re not bragging, you’re enlightening.
You know the difference. You’ve seen those who continuously talk themselves up. That’s bragging and it stems from a place of fear.
That’s not you, or me.
Let’s not be afraid. We’re not braggers. We have skills and passions that we want to share. We want others to see how our capabilities can enhance their organizations and lives. We want to help. We want to enlighten.
