One of the most difficult things we can do is to do what we really want. When we were children, we thought nothing about doing what we wanted. If we felt like coloring, we pulled out the crayons. If we felt like coloring on the wall, we’d mar (and sometimes) scar up our parent’s investment.
The thing is, we just did whatever we felt we wanted to do.
Then we grew up. We learned that’s not always a good idea. We certainly don’t want to get in trouble or offend or hurt anyone so we’ve chosen to pull back.
But did we pull back too much?
What do you really want?
Is there something that you’d like to try or a way you’d like to act that is just bubbling up inside of you?
It’s time to go for it. Let your freedom of expression ring.
What are you afraid of?
What do you really want to do?
The time has come!
Personal Challenge: Try out what you really want today. Or at the very least talk about it, plan for it and take a baby step. Life is too short.
