You might not think about hanging up this shingle at your workplace:
“Setbacks Are Welcome.”
But every success story has its setbacks.
- Elvis Presley was told to go back to truck driving because he didn’t have talent.
- W. Woolworth was told that he didn’t know how to serve a customer.
- Abraham Lincoln failed in business and politics numerous times.
- J. K. Rowling survived on welfare and faced numerous literary rejections.
You get the point. Setbacks are stepping-stones to success. Please don’t throw in the towel. Go for broke even if it means running on empty for a little while.
