Sublime is a powerful word. It connotes elevated thought, paradise or something greater than we can imagine.
It’s a hard word to use, because finding something sublime is rare. Perhaps an ice cream sundae, a promotion or a vacation comes close to the sublime, but it’s all subjective.
It’s funny to hear the word used. It brings us pause because it’s used so rarely. I believe, however, there are more things sublime than naught. Yes, it’s my opinion, my perspective. But imagine if we used more positive words that give a visual beyond the ordinary to the extraordinary. If the use is authentic, we might find ourselves smiling more often.
